Probably one of the most important points made in this article in The Guardian for me, is summarised in this quote... "In reality, the great majority of people who suffer mental health disorders develop them as children or young adults. Great stress in childhood is likely to make us less resilient, not more."
If this research is correct, there is so much that we can do during our children's youth to support them to become healthy adults. Adults that can confidently contribute to the world's work and feel proud of their work and know that their values are aligned in their choices.
